Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughters, Gracie, Maggie and Audrey, are 15, 14 and 12. It won’t be long before they are leaving the nest and heading out into the world. While it’s hard for Tim to picture that day, he’s also proud to watch them grow.

“It’s rewarding and it just sort of takes your breath away to sit back and see them grow into young women, see them gain confidence and self assurance, start pushing themselves out into the world without you pushing them, or holding them back,” he said. “To watch them take bigger steps and bigger steps and grow as people is something that’s pretty amazing.”

Tim feels good about the job he and Faith have done as parents to prepare their girls for the world. “You just hope that you give them a good enough foundation that they can make wise decisions as they get older,” he said. “We feel like they’re really well adjusted, smart, confident young women. That’s the best that you can hope for and then they can go out and conquer the world.”

Tim will launch his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour May 2 in Birmingham, Alabama. His new single, “Highway Don’t Care,” features Taylor Swift and Keith Urban and was just released to country radio.
