Place your bids to win Easton Corbin’s truck! Ram Truck brand is wrapping up its Road to the Ram Jam country music series by holding the last of five charity auctions where each participating artist will auction off their 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn truck to benefit a charity of their choice. Fans can bid on Easton’s truck now through March 28.
All proceeds from Easton’s auction will benefit the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which honors Americans in our Armed Forces who have sacrificed life or limb defending our country by awarding college scholarships to their children. “The whole purpose of the auction is to help other people and knowing that the proceeds from the truck will do this – is a great thought,” Easton said. “I definitely encourage my fans to bid on the auction. They get a great truck out of the deal and also provide college scholarships to some well-deserving young people.”
“All of the proceeds from the auction of Easton’s Ram truck, are going to help the sons and daughters of American heroes achieve their dream of a college education,” Tom Kilgannon, President of Freedom Alliance, added. “Every scholarship we give out is a reminder to the student that their parent’s sacrifice will never be forgotten by a grateful nation.”
Last week, Zac Brown’s truck was auctioned off and raised $39,300 for Camp Southern Ground. Earlier this year, Billy Currington’s Ram truck was auctioned off and raised $34,578 for Team Rubicon while Brantley Gilbert’s Ram truck raised $34,552 for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Kellie Pickler’s truck was auctioned off at the end of January and raised $36,200 for the USO Warrior and Family Care program.
As part of the Road to the Ram Jam series, Easton, Zac, Billy, Brantley and Kellie each received a one-year lease on a 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn truck. Those trucks were auctioned off with all proceeds going to benefit a charity of each artist’s choice.
