Pistol Annies, comprised of Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe, have revealed the album cover and track listing of their new album, Annie Up, out May 7. Through social video app Vine, fans can watch a video of the cover reveal at www.pistolannies.com.

Annie Up features 12 songs written by the Pistol Annies that deal with real life.  The first single from the project, “Hush Hush,” talks about hiding family secrets under the rug to maintain appearances. “I Feel A Sin Comin On” is an ode to temptation while “Unhappily Married” is the story of a couple resigned to stay together.

The Annies get confessional on “Being Pretty Ain’t Pretty, ” a look at the exhausting process a woman goes through of getting ready each day. The idea for the song was inspired by a tweet from Ashley stating she had just bought a ton of make-up and make-up wipes to take it all off.

“Women are warriors and we go into battle everyday with the stuff we wear,” Angaleena Presley said. “You spend all this money for make-up and eyelashes and spray tanners just to wipe it all off at the end of the night,” Miranda Lambert added.

Annie Up will also be available on vinyl May 7 and can be purchased anywhere vinyl is sold.
