Vote for ACM Entertainer & New Artist of the Year

Fan voting is now open at for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Award’s Entertainer of the Year award, powered by Ram Truck Brand for the fourth year in a row, and the New Artist of the Year award, presented by Kohl’s. Both awards will be given out during the ACM Awards, airing live on CBS on April 7 at 8/7c and co-hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.

“Once again, fans have the power to vote for two of the ACM’s most exciting categories, and we’re proud to have great partners both in Ram Trucks and Kohl’s to help make it happen,” Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, said.

“The Ram Truck brand is proud to partner with the Academy of Country Music for their 48th Award ceremony,” Fred Diaz, President and CEO – Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico, Chrysler Group LLC, said. “Ram truck fans and country music fans are one and the same as they are cut from the same cloth of authenticity with a genuine work-hard, play-hard attitude. We are excited to find out who Ram and country music fans will select as their choice for Entertainer of the Year. We congratulate all the nominated artists.”

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift are each nominated for the prestigious Entertainer of the Year trophy. Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer and Florida Georgia Line are up for ACM New Artist of The Year. New Artist of the Year voting will close at 8/7c on Sunday, April and Entertainer of the Year voting will close during the third hour of the live ACM Awards broadcast.

Leading up to the ACM Awards, fans can watch interviews and exclusive performances with the ACM New Artist of the Year nominees on GAC’s ACM  Top New Artist of the Year special, hosted by Scotty McCreery. During the show, each artist will receive their trophies for winning their respective first round categories. ACM Top New Artist of the Year premieres tonight, March 25, at 8/7 c with re-airs throughout the week. Check the full schedule here.
