Luke Bryan & Miranda Lambert Win Big at the ACM Awards

The winners have been revealed for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards! Fans named Luke Bryan Entertainer of the Year with a record breaking 1.1 million fans casting their votes in the Entertainer of the Year and New Artist of the Year categories combined. Luke co-hosted the ACM Awards along with Blake Shelton and picked up Vocal Event of the Year with Jason Aldean and Eric Church for “The Only Way I Know” on the GAC live red carpet pre-show.

Miranda Lambert picked up Female Vocalist of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. She also took home Single Record of the Year as artist and Song of the Year as artist and composer for “Over You.” With four trophies, she was the night’s big winner. She joins Reba and Loretta Lynn as the only other artists to win Female Vocalist of the Year four or more times.

Jason Aldean won Male Vocalist of the Year, his first win in the category, along with his Vocal Event of the Year trophy. Little Big Town picked up their first Vocal Group of the Year trophy and, on the GAC live red carpet broadcast, they were also awarded the trophy for Video of the Year for “Tornado.”

Thompson Square won Vocal Duo of the Year for the second consecutive year while Eric Church picked up Album of the Year for Chief in addition to his Vocal Event of the Year win. Florida Georgia Line received their first ACM Award, picking up New Artist of the Year, a fan-voted category.
