The Tug McGraw Foundation will hold its 2nd Annual Celebrity Sporting Clay Pro-Am on Tuesday, June 4 at the Nashville Gun Club in Nashville. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation and its efforts to improve the lives of military members affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Kix Brooks will be on hand for the event in addition to an all-star lineup of country stars to be announced soon as well as sporting clay professionals. Fifteen teams consisting of four amateurs, one professional and a music celebrity will compete for the championship. Sporting clay competitions simulates live-quarry, offering a variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes.
Bill McGuire, the 2011 National Sporting Clay Champion along with Brad Kidd, Jr., Chris Reed from Top Shot, Andy Ross of Maximum Archery and Tom Mac from CZ Guns are set to serve as the event professionals. Following the competition there will be a lunch of Cajun cuisine and a silent auction.
