Florida Georgia Line has a schedule full of show dates throughout the rest of the year, including opening spots on Luke Bryan’s and Taylor Swift’s tours. The time they spend on their tour bus has proven to be a good time for social media – when they aren’t getting some shut eye.
“That’s my time to catch up with people that I need to catch up with, check emails, try to take care of some business stuff,” Tyler Hubbard said. “It’s our only downtime. Whether it’s Twitter and Facebook, or text or emails, whatever it is, that’s kinda my time to listen to music and just have ‘me’ time.”
Brian Kelley also takes advantage of the time to be productive — but his favorite thing about being on the bus is getting to really talk with his band.
“The coolest thing is when the music’s off and nobody is sleeping or has their headphones on,” he said. “It doesn’t happen too much, but it’s cool and we just kinda get into a cool conversation. We’ve become one big family out there and we got some great, great guys out there on the road with us.”
