Rascal Flatts will kick off their Live and Loud 2013 Tour at the end of May. The trio has been hard at work planning the show in recent weeks. Previously, they’ve built their own shows and set lists, but according to Jay DeMarcus, this time they’ve done something new in order to take their show to the next level.
“We’re working with a show producer this time, which is pretty fun and pretty exciting to have somebody come in and put a different set of eyes and ears on what we’re doing,” he revealed.
The man lending his eyes and ears to the trio’s new tour is Raj Kapoor, who is no stranger to working with some of country’s biggest stars. “He did Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away Tour,” Jay said. “He’s put together the Shania show out in Vegas and he’s worked with Little Big Town some, on a couple different things. We’re really excited to bring somebody in from the outside this time.”
The group will begin rehearsals for the tour in early May. The tour will officially kick off May 31 in Wantagh, New York.
