The Band Perry performed record-breaking crowds in Texas and Mississippi over the weekend. They started their trek with a sold out show at Graham Central Station in Odessa, Texas then headed to Billy Bob’s in Ft. Worth, Texas. They then played for an recording-setting crowd at Nutty Jerry’s in Winnie, Texas before returning to their birth state of Mississippi for  a sold out show in Jackson at Thalia Mara Hall on Sunday.

“We had so much fun in Texas this past weekend,” Neil Perry said. “Seeing so many fans turn out even during bad weather was really amazing. It was also great to go back to Jackson, MS, which is one of our hometowns.”

“Our home is on the road, and to welcome these crowds into our “family” for an hour and a half is truly what we look forward to every night,” Kimberly Perry added.

While the band’s success keeps them on the road, they appreciate the times they can return to their home in Greeneville, Tennessee, a farming and manufacturing community in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The band will take fans there and explore their roots on Origins: The Band Perry, premiering May 11 at 10/9c on GAC.
