Yesterday Keith Urban released “Little Bit of Everything,” the lead single from his upcoming album, through country radio and his official Keith Urban app. He will perform the song live on American Idol this Thursday, May 16, at 8/7C on FOX.

“‘Little Bit Of Everything’ conveys a sentiment that’s always felt right to me,” Keith said of the single. “I connected with that from the first time I heard it. I ‘felt it’ and I loved it.”

Written by Brad and Brett Warrren and Kevin Rudolf, the song was co-produced by Keith and Nathan Chapman. It marks the first single from Keith in nearly two years, the last being the No. 1 hit “You Gonna Fly from his Get Closer album.

“I gravitate towards the sound of a song and its instrumentation,” Keith said. “On this song I was able to take the elements of sound that I’ve used before and blend them together into a fusion of spirit and energy.”

Following the finale of American Idol this week, Keith will return to the studio to continue work on his new album. He will kick off his Light The Fuse Tour on July 18 in Cincinnati. Listen to “Little Bit of Everything” HERE.
