Lady Antebellum’s beautiful new video for their recently released single “Goodbye Town” is an ode to both heartbreak and small town life. Filmed in Nashville and directed by Peter Zavadil, the video’s subdued colors and overcast skies set the mood for a walk down memory lane with small town life as the backdrop.
As the clip begins, a young couple are falling in love under their high school’s bleachers but as the video progresses, it becomes clear the images are Charles Kelley’s flashbacks as he remembers his first love. As the video comes to a close, he sprints down a street, chasing the past, only to come face to face with memories.
