The Tug McGraw Foundation will hold its 2nd Annual Celebrity Sporting Clay Pro-Am on Tuesday, June 4 at the Nashville Gun Club in Nashville. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation and its efforts to improve the lives of military members affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Kix Brooks will be on hand for the event along with fellow celebrities Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry, Brad & Brett Warren of The Warren Brothers, Keith Anderson, Craig Campbell, Austin Webb, Chris Janson, Lance Miller, Chad Warrix, Kristy Lee Cook and Mike Fisher of the NHL Nashville Predators.
Fifteen teams consisting of four amateurs, one professional and a music celebrity will compete for the championship. Sporting clay competitions simulate live-quarry, offering a variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes.
Bill McGuire, the 2011 National Sporting Clay Champion along with Brad Kidd, Jr., Chris Reed from Top Shot, Andy Ross of Maximum Archery and Tom Mac from CZ Guns are set to serve as the event professionals. Following the competition there will be a lunch of Cajun cuisine and a silent auction.
