Little Big Town to Host CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock

Little Big Town will serve as  host of CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock. Set to air on ABC on August 12 at 8/7c, the television special will be filmed during CMA Music Festival June 6-9 in Nashville and feature many of country music’s biggest stars performing at the Nightly Concerts at LP Field and around Music City.

“It’s an incredible honor to be hosting this year’s CMA Fest,” Karen Fairchild said. “We could not be more excited about the party that’s going to break out at LP Field every night!”

The special first aired in 2004 and is marking its 10th anniversary in 2013. This is the ninth time ABC will broadcast the special, which gives fans an up close and personal look at CMA Music Festival as well as behind the scenes access. The special will air on ABC through 2021.
