The cast of Duck Dynasty announced Saturday night during CMA Music Festival that they have signed with UMG Nashville and will release a Christmas album, Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, on October 29. The album, produced by Buddy Cannon, will feature both the Robertson family vocals and their humor.

“Faith, family and ducks – in that order – have always been our priorities,” Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander, said. “Christmas is an important holiday for us not only because of our strong faith, but also our holiday family traditions. We’re having a great time making this album.”

“The whole family is going to be involved,” Korie Robertson, Willie’s wife, added. “It’ll be kind of a variety show style, music CD, and we’ve got some surprises for you, so it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

This is not the family’s first venture into country music, though. Several of the Robertsons appeared in Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel” video. Watch it HERE.
