Jimmy Wayne has partnered with “the dog bone guys” of Cost Less Pet Treats to form Ruby’s Pet Treats to benefit underprivileged children and their pets. A percentage of every purchase through the website will go to Jimmy’s Project Meet Me Halfway and The Humane Society of Genesee County.

The friendship between Jimmy and “the dog bone guys” began in the fall of 2008 when Jimmy performed at a private party for a farm and garden distribution company. After the show, he met the three guys from Cost Less Pet Treats who became not only fans but friends.

Jimmy spent much of his childhood in and out of foster homes and has become an advocate for foster children and the foster care system. On January 1, 2010, Jimmy began a walk from Nashville to Phoenix to raise awareness about the 30,000 youth who age out of the Foster care system each year and become homeless.  On April 1, 2010, while walking through Amarillo, Texas, he rescued a Chihuahua whom he named Ruby. All funds raised during the walk, and since then, go to Jimmy’s Project Meet Me Halfway.

In 2012, Jimmy and his dog bone friends began exploring ways to financially aid both Project Meet Me Halfway and The Humane Society of Genesee County, and Ruby’s Pet Treats was created. It offers high quality pet treats and other pet items at a competitive price. For more information, visit
