The Bellamy Brothers went international with their new album, Bellamy Brothers & Friends: Across The Sea. The album, a collaboration between Swiss and American artists, is at No. 5 on the Swiss Music Chart this week and has been No. 1 for album sales in Switzerland for four weeks in a row.

“We’re extremely grateful to all the artists who took part in this album”, the duo said. “It is a unique Swiss/American collaboration and an international music experience that we’re very proud of.”

The album features both American and European artists, including Kris Kristofferson, Crystal Gayle, the Bacon Brothers, Carlene Carter, Jesse and Noah Bellamy, Kristin Ash, Gölä, Natacha, Florian Ast, Yodel Volksmusik Group’s Oesch’s die Dritten, Phil Carmen, Peter Reber and Nina. It is their third major release in Europe in the past three years.

Bellamy Brothers & Friends: Across The Sea is available in the United States through iTunes. Besides celebrating the album’s success, the duo are also celebrating David Bellamy’s recent nomination for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. He will be inducted alongside Randy Owen, Ronnie Dunn and Toby Keith in the Songwriter/Artist category.
