Country Thunder ended Sunday night with more than 30,000 people gathered for performances from Jake Owen and Hunter Hayes. Others who performed during the four-day festival included Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch and more.
“I am so thankful for all the fans, and everyone who came together to make Country Thunder such a fantastic event this year,” Executive Producer Troy Vollhoffer said. “We are looking forward to next year, renewals are already underway and we’ll be announcing some of that lineup soon! We can’t wait to come back with more amazing country music and good times with friends.”
“This is definitely the biggest festival we play all year,” Hunter Hayes said. “It’s a blast! It is the ultimate festival vibe, everybody is here camping out and that’s what it’s all about. It’s fun for everybody, not just us, but the fans too.”
This year’s festival featured more on-site entertainment than ever before. Fans were allowed to get behind the wheel of a Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Sequoia or FJ Cruiser at the Toyota Drive Center off-road course, try their luck at mechanical bull riding and the human slingshot, and enjoy a variety of food. DJ DU kept the party going late into the night at the Electric Thunder circus tent while The Roys Pickin’ Porch was introduced as a new attraction.
“Country Thunder was absolutely amazing this year,” GAC’s Storme Warren said. “It is so much fun to interact with the fans that watch GAC and those that listen to me on SiriusXM. This event has become more about a lifestyle than just who the headliner is, and that makes for a big party!”
