Vince Gill and steel guitarist Paul Franklin took part in an intimate evening with Eddie Stubbs on Monday, July 22 at the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The pair discussed their historical tribute album Bakersfield, which will be released July 30.

Guests had the opportunity to hear and see WSM’s Eddie Stubbs interview the pair as part of a special “Bakersfield” broadcast. The special is scheduled to air Monday, July 29 at 8/7c on on 650 AM WSM and www.wsmonline.com.
Vince and Paul paid tribute to the Bakersfield sound by performing songs from two of Bakersfield’s most prominent artists, Buck Owens and Merle Haggard, on Bakersfield. Vince and Paul shared producer duties on the 10-song project.
