Kelly Clarkson dipped a toe into the country music scene when she joined Jason Aldean on “Don’t You Wanna Stay” and went a little further into the genre with “Don’t Rush” featuring Vince Gill. Now, she’s going all in with her new single, “Tie It Up.”
The wedding-themed tune was debuted by Kelly during CMA Music Festival and featured in ABC’s concert special, CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock. It has been released to country radio and can be downloaded on iTunes.
The song also reflects Kelly’s excitement about her own upcoming nuptials. She is set to marry Brandon Blackstock, Reba’s stepson, in a wedding that will be officiated by none other than pal Blake Shelton. While there’s no word on a wedding date, you can browse photos from Blake and wife Miranda Lambert’s wedding as well as photos from the nuptials of some of your other favorite country stars like Jake Owen, Shania Twain and Kellie Pickler.
