Eli Young Band will take the stage for the final two shows of Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Nation Tour this weekend with back-to-back sold out shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. According to the band’s Chris Thompson, being on the tour this summer “is like having a shotgun seat to the biggest and greatest tour on the planet.”

The group not only had the chance to play their new single, “Drunk Last Night,” for thousands of fans, they also were able to study one of the best in the business. “We’ve learned so much from Kenny,” Chris said. “Everything from how to perform onstage, how to keep the audience attention for two solid hours all the way down to actually how to run a tour behind the scenes.”

They also took a few tips from Kenny on the business side of things. “Kenny’s really hands on,” Chris said. “He’s always around. He’s always tweaking the show. He’s always very active in everything that you see on stage and everything that happens behind the scenes. We’ve learned a ton from him and keep learning.”

“Drunk Last Night” is the band’s lead single from their upcoming album, set for release later this year. See photos and more from the No Shoes Nation Tour >>
