Toby Keith‘s new album, Drinks After Work, will hit stores October 29 and feature his latest single, the title cut. The album will include 10 new tracks, with a deluxe edition featuring three additional tracks. One of the bonus tracks, “Chuckie’s Gone,” is in memory of Toby’s bandleader Chuck Goff who passed away earlier this year.
“This album is dedicated in memory of Chuck Goff, our longtime bandleader-bass player,” Toby writes in the album’s liner notes. “He will live on forever in our thoughts and in our performances. We miss ya, Shmudlo.”
Toby is the sole producer on the album and has songwriter credit on nine of 10 tracks. In addition to “Chuckie’s Gone,” the deluxe edition also includes “Call A Marine” and a cover of “Margaritaville” which features Sammy Hagar. The album will be available for pre-order on iTunes on October 1.
