Tim McGraw is headed back to the big screen. Billboard reports that Tim will be a part of the upcoming Disney production Tomorrowland. Starring George Clooney and directed by Brad Bird, the movie is tentatively scheduled to be released in 2014.
The film follows a bright teen, to be played by Britt Robertson, and a “former boy-genius inventor” played by Clooney as they embark on a “danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as Tomorrowland.”
Tomorrowland begins shooting next week in Vancouver and will be Tim’s ninth movie role. He first appeared in 2004’s Black Cloud and Friday Night Lights. He’s also starred in such hits as The Blind Side and Four Christmases. His last movie was 2011’s Dirty Girl, which also starred Dwight Yoakam.
