Reba McEntire and The Band Perry were on hand Monday to help surprise the winners of the 2013 CMA Broadcast Awards. The Band Perry kicked the morning off by calling the Radio Station and Major, Large, Medium, and Small Market Broadcast Personality of the Year winners while Reba delivered the good news to Kix Brooks, winner of the National Broadcast Personality of the Year award, that afternoon.
“The importance of radio is unparalleled in our format,” Ed Hardy, President of the CMA Board of Directors, said. “These folks are dedicated champions for Country Music, and we are glad to honor them for their outstanding contributions.”
Winners will be recognized at the 47th Annual CMA Awards. Co-hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, the CMA Awards will air live on ABC on November 6 at 8/7c.
