Kip Moore has announced he will release “Young Love” as the lead single from his sophomore album, expected out in early 2014. It follows three consecutive No. 1s for Kip and was co-written by Kip and two of his best friends, Dan Couch and Westin Davis. Fans can unlock a preview of the song about first love before its released by visiting younglove.kipmoore.net.
“Being able to write songs with a couple of your best friends and then actually have some success with it is something every up and coming songwriter dreams about, and I have a hard time believing that we’ve achieved that sometimes,” Kip said. “Beyond being friends, Dan and Westin are two of the most talented guys I know, and we always push each other to be better.
“This song is about being in love so much that the rest of the world doesn’t matter, it is just about those two people,” he continued. “Especially being young, everyone else might not take it as seriously as you are feeling it. I think most people have been there and we wanted to tell that story.”
