Ronnie Dunn’s career has taken him around the world, building an allegiance of fans in his wake. With those fans in mind, Ronnie decided to say ‘thank you for your  support.’ He asked for their help in deciding where he and his band would play next by launching a grassroots-based Facebook campaign for followers to suggest venues for him to “Play For Beer” during his off-days on the road.

“We’re calling it ‘Play For Beer,’” Ronnie said. “But it’s really about finding places that we can drop into on a whim, play and in turn do something helpful for a worthy cause.”

An overwhelming number of fans asked him to play in Morgantown, West Virginia and so Ronnie delivered, performing for a packed audience at Schmitt’s Saloon on Friday, October 25. All proceeds from the show were donated to Operation Welcome Home, a local organization that provides fellowship and resources for veterans.
