Terri Clark, Troy Gentry, Darryl Worley and Daryle Singletary will take the stage to help celebrate Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge’s 53rd birthday on November 21-22. For the first time, the Broadway street party will span two days. It will be hosted by Storme Warren and is the kick-off event for the George Jones Tribute Concert, set for November 22.
“The Tootsie’s Birthday Bash has become an annual event that everyone looks forward to,” Tootsie’s proprietor Steve Smith said. “We kicked it off at the Ryman with Kris Kristofferson, Terri Clark, Mel Tillis and Jamey Johnson a few years back. Then Kid Rock and The Kentucky HeadHunters took the party to the street on Broadway. Last year Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser and Troy Gentry kicked it up a bit, and then there is this year. The lineup is starting to come together!”
More stars will be added to the lineup in the coming days. Tootsie’s is one of Nashville’s must-see destinations and is known to have been used as a “Green Room” for some of music’s biggest stars both before and after shows at the Ryman Auditorium.
