Country stars come together to honor legendary country music super group Alabama in Alabama & Friends, a one-hour concert event premiering Wednesday, November 27 at 9/8c on Great American Country. Each artist will perform their favorite Alabama hit song and Alabama will take the stage to perform “All American,” one of the two new tracks on their Alabama & Friends tribute album.

“For me, they were the Beatles,” Jason Aldean said. “Through Randy’s voice, the songs, his charisma onstage, he had people in the palm of his hand. Watching the reaction those guys got from the crowd was part of the reason I wanted to be an entertainer.”

“They were just perfectly poetic for a southern person,” Luke Bryan said. “They may be big stars but they felt like the guys down the street. They knew who their audience was and spoke right to them.”

Watch a sneak peek:

During the special, Jason Aldean will perform “Tennessee River”; Luke Bryan sings on “Love in the First Degree”; Florida Georgia Line is on “I’m In a Hurry (And Don’t Know Why)”; Trisha Yearwood‘s on “Forever’s As Far As I’ll Go”; Jamey Johnson sings “My Home’s in Alabama”; and Eli Young Band is on “The Closer You Get.”

The concert was filmed during one of two sold-out Alabama concerts at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium earlier this year.
