Brad Paisley will release his new single, “The Mona Lisa,” later this month. He will also perform the song on the American Country Awards, which airs live December 10 at 8/7c. Brad was inspired to write the feel-good love song when he had the opportunity to see the masterpiece several years ago. He also included his fans in the making of the song.
“In the big refrain to ‘The Mona Lisa,’ there are actually 10,000 people recorded live in Saratoga Springs, New York,” he said. “In concert, I said, ‘Who wants to be on the new album,’ and what you hear at the end of the song is the audience singing the ‘whoas.’ So if you live in Saratoga Springs, and you were at our concert last time, you made the album!”
Brad is currently preparing to play the final dates of his Beat This Summer Tour with shows November 21 in Springfield, Illinois and November 23 in Detroit, Michigan. Brad will return to the road in the new year, launching his re-branded Beat This Winter Tour on January 9.
