Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line & More Win Big at the American Music Awards

Country music is clearly one of America’s favorite genres of music. Just ask Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum, who all took home trophies at the 2013 American Music Awards.

Here are the country category winners:
Favorite Album, Country: Taylor Swift’s Red

Favorite Female Artist, Country: Taylor Swift

Favorite Male Artist, Country: Luke Bryan

Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Country: Lady Antebellum

Country artists also won outside of the genre. Taylor was voted Favorite Female Artist, Pop or Rock, over P!nk and Rihanna. She also took home the trophy for Artist of the Year, over Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Bruno Mars,
Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. The all-genre award for Single of the Year went to Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” featuring Nelly, over “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, featuring Wanz, and “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke, featuring Pharrell and T.I.
