The Band Perry doesn’t have much down time given their busy tour schedule, but when they do get the opportunity to relax, two of the three siblings have hobbies they enjoy. Neil loves photography while Reid enjoys horseback riding. It’s big sister Kimberly that struggles to find something to do besides music.
“I always feel kinda like a loser when I get asked this question about hobbies because honestly since I was 15 I spent every waking minute with music and pursuing our dream,” she said. But while Kimberly says she doesn’t have a hobby, she actually does have a few activities she enjoys.
“When we do have a day at home, I like to just take drives in the car,” she said. “I like to find peace and quiet, I like to read. I do like to go antique shopping with my mother and find little bits and pieces so at some point — when we actually have time to build a real house, not just [live on] a tour bus – we’ll get to furnish it.”
The trio won’t have much free time in the coming months. They are currently in the middle of the European leg of their Pioneers of the World Tour and will kick off the North American leg in January. Their latest single, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” is in the Top 10 at radio.
