While Scotty McCreery has wrapped his headlining Weekend Roadtrip Tour, his schedule hasn’t slowed down. His December is packed with dates as he crosses the nation to help country radio with holiday events and perform his own headlining shows, all while preparing to take finals at the North Carolina State University.
“Holiday events are a perfect fit for me,” he said. ”I can use holiday tunes from my Christmas album to help lift spirits and encourage others to give back. These events remind me why I sing: to give back and do good. It’s an awesome way to end the year.”
On Wednesday, December 11, he will be at the Izod Center in New York City as part of the ice skating spectacular P&G & Wal-Mart Tribute to American Legends of the Ice, which will air on NBC on Saturday, February 1, at 2:30/1:30c. After traveling through North Carolina last week to perform for radio charity events in his home state, he has additional holiday appearances scheduled in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and York, Penn., this month.
Scotty’s holiday album, Christmas With Scotty, was certified gold in just five weeks after being released last year. For details on where you can catch Scotty live during the holiday season, visit www.scottymccreery.com.
