Congratulations to Florida Georgia Line‘s Brian Kelley, 28, and his new bride, Brittney Marie Cole, 23! People magazine reports the couple tied the knot on Monday in an outdoor ceremony at Brian’s home in Nashville.

“The whole process has been non-traditional,” Brian told People. “There was no official proposal or exchanging of rings. We had just fallen in love, and I knew I couldn’t live without her. It sounds like a terrible cheesy movie, but when you know, you know!”

When Brian and Brittney met three years ago, they were both dating other people. “She definitely caught my eye [back then],” he tells the magazine. “Brittney’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I always knew in my heart that if I were single, then I wanted a chance with her. She was my dream girl.”

When their other relationships ended, the two started dating. They dated for seven months before marrying but Brian says he knew Brittney was the one from their first date. “I’d never wanted to make someone my wife before. I always want her by my side.”

“We just knew,” adds Brittney. “There was this energy that we had never felt before.”
