Watch Ronnie Dunn in the Premiere of From The Deck With Nan Kelley Tonight

Watch Ronnie Dunn in the Premiere of "From The Deck With Nan Kelley" on Great American Country

Great American Country’s Nan Kelley interviews Ronnie Dunn in From The Deck With Nan Kelley, premiering Monday, Dec. 30 at 9/8c.

“Behind your favorite celebrity is a person,” says Great American Country host Nan Kelley. “A person who worked hard and made sacrifices to achieve their goals.”

Nan will shine the spotlight on some of country music’s biggest stars in the new Great American Country special, From The Deck With Nan Kelley, which premieres Monday, December 30 at 9/8c. And as the show’s title suggests, she’ll do it from the deck of her beautiful Nashville home. First “on deck” is Ronnie Dunn, one half of the best-selling duo of all time, Brooks & Dunn, and now a successful solo artist.

“Like the rest of us, they eat, sleep, breathe and live with the daily ups and downs of life,” says Nan of her famous house guests. “This show gives you a glimpse of the person behind the star.”

In tonight’s premiere, you’ll come to know Ronnie on a personal level and hear the stories he doesn’t always get to tell — including how going to a different school every year affected who is today, his dad’s musical aspirations, the Brooks & Dunn break-up and how his wife helped him find himself on the other side of it. Plus, Ronnie will treat us to an acoustic performance of his first solo hit, “Cost of Livin’.”
