David Nail Hits No. 1 with "Whatever She's Got"

David Nail is celebrating his latest No. 1. “Whatever She’s Got” topped both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase Country charts this week. The song, certified Gold for sales of more than 500,000 units, is the lead single from David’s I’m A Fire album, set for release on March 4.

“Thank you to my friends at country radio who have been beyond wonderful and supporting through this journey of mine both on and off stage,” he said. “This has made all my previous singles more sweeter to look back on and appreciate their purpose.”

David chose to record the song, written by Jimmy Robbins and John Nite, because it reminded him of his wife, Catherine. “I still to this day don’t know what she has, but I know that I like it….whatever it is.”

David will hit the road this spring in support of his new album with dates starting March 21 in Medina, Ohio. He will also be a special guest on Darius Rucker’s True Believers Tour and join Lady Antebellum for select dates of their Take Me Downtown Tour. For tour dates and ticket information, visit
