Eric Paslay has topped the charts as a songwriter a few times, penning hits “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” recorded by Jake Owen, “Angel Eyes” recorded by Love and Theft and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” recorded by Eli Young Band. Now as an artist, he is nearing the No. 1 spot with his Top 5 hit “Friday Night.” According to Eric, Friday is so much more than just a day of the week.
“It’s not just a Friday Night,” he said. “It’s that feeling that you want to go back to and re-live, and learn how to be with that person that you love and that they’re your Friday Night. You want to try to beat last Friday Night again and again with ‘em.”
Eric will hit the road with Brantley Gilbert’s Let It Ride Tour in March. His self-titled debut album will hit stores February 4. He also has co-writing credit on Rascal Flatts’ new single, “Rewind.”
