The Band Perry just released their latest single, “Chainsaw,” from the Pioneer album, but the band is already hard at work on their third studio album. Before recording Pioneer, the sibling trio had a routine for writing and places they felt most inspired. That changed with Pioneer and will affect their new music.

“I feel like there was this crazy thing that happened on Pioneer where we had to sort of learn to be creative on the go,” Kimberly Perry said. “But once we got the hang of it, every new place that we travel, every new horizon we see somehow inspires us with brand new music. It’s a really cool and fertile creative time for us right now.”

The band will have to do much of the writing for the new music on the road. They are currently headlining their We Are Pioneers Tour through the spring and will join Blake Shelton’s Ten Times Crazier Tour this summer.
