Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley surprised his fans when he announced he and his girlfriend Brittney Marie got married back in December. So far, they are enjoying married life. While they had only been a couple for seven months when they tied the knot, their relationship went way back.

“We met three and a half years ago through some friends we were kinda running around Georgia with and we’re both seeing different people, but we always had kind of a connection and I always thought she was the most beautiful, coolest, creative, independent woman I’d ever met,” Brian said. “I always wanted a chance, and I thought if we ever get single, that’d be cool, and it happened.”

Once they were both single at the same time, they started hanging out immediately and the connection was instant. “We’re the type of people, if we want something, we feel something, we believe in it, we’re not really gonna wait and just do our own thing,” Brian said. “Nothing has ever felt so right. We’ve both dated different people and lived and learned and loved and going through certain things makes you appreciate and realize things. Just couldn’t have been more perfect timing.”

Even though Florida Georgia Line has been busy touring with Jason Aldean, Brian and Brittney-Marie are still managing to find plenty of time to be newlyweds. The duo’s latest single, “This Is How We Roll,” is at radio now.
