Josh Thompson and Imagine Dragons made surprise visits to Nashville-area healthcare facilities last week to bring the healing power of music to patients through Musicians on Call. On Wednesday, Josh paid a visit to the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System’s Nashville campus to take part in its weekly Bedside Performance Program. He went room-to-room to visit with patients and their families and play some of his hit songs like “Way Out Here” and “Beer on the Table.”
On Monday, Imagine Dragons teamed up with MOC Nashville to host an exclusive listening party for patients and families at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The band answered questions from patients and posed for photos while listening to their latest album, Night Visions. The band was in town to play a sold-out show at Bridgestone Arena.
This week, MOC Nashville will be the beneficiary of 107.5 The River’s STAR PARTY featuring Colbie Caillat, Hot Chelle Rae and A Great Big World live in concert. The show is set for Thursday, March 6 at Anthem in downtown Nashville. For information on MOC events, programs, volunteering and more, please visit www.MusiciansOnCall.org.
