Old Crow Medicine Show will release their new album, Remedy, on July 1 through ATO Records. The album will feature catchy melodies and quirky lyrics, along with their signature unmatched musicianship. Ten years after the success of “Wagon Wheel,” which started as a track on a Bob Dylan work tape and was later finished by band leader Ketch Secor, Remedy features a new collaboration between Bob and the band, “Sweet Amarillo.”

“This is country music for people who think country music needs a whoopin’,’” Ketch said. “Country music that knows how deep its roots run— from the dirtiest blues to the folkiest folk, the songwriters, the crooners and the Outlaws, to the Opry stage; it’s all here.”

The album kicks off with “Brushy Mountain Conjugal Trailer,” a new take on the classic prison tale, followed by “8 Dogs 8 Banjos” a timeless original. While known for their fast and furious uptempo numbers, the band also shines on the album’s ballads including “Dearly Departed Friend” and Critter Fuqua’s “Firewater”.

In support of Remedy, the band has announced their biggest headlining tour ever, which will include stops at Red Rocks, The Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Atlanta, The Philadelphia Folk Festival and London’s The Roundhouse. Opening acts for the tour include Shovels & Rope, Hurray For The Riff Raff, and Parker Millsap, who will be opening all of the band’s UK dates.  For a complete list of tour dates see below.
