Martina McBride and her charitable organization, Team Martina, have launched a campaign to bring musical instruments to Covenant House, a Guatemalan orphanage. The fundraiser, “Everlasting Music For Kids,” has launched online with fans giving more than $25,000 to date.

“Having visited Covenant House earlier this year and seen firsthand the great work they do for teens, I’m excited about this new project,” Martina said. “I know as well as anyone how music can change lives. It makes me happy to think music is going to be introduced to a group of young girls who can truly benefit from it.”

Funds raised will create a music program and provide care in Martina’s name to children at Covenant House International, a home for needy and abused children in Guatemala. Team Martina is creating the program to provide classes and musical instruments for orphaned girls, ages 9-15, who live at the orphanage.

Fans can learn more about donating “Everlasting Music for Kids” at Martina recently released her latest album, Everlasting, a collection of iconic soul and pop covers.
