Dolly Parton’s new album, Blue Smoke, has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Chart and No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200. The project is Dolly’s 42nd studio album and her highest charting solo release to date.

“I am glad that people are enjoying the music from my new Blue Smoke album,” Dolly said. “It feels great to be in the Top 10. It’s always an honor to know the fans spend their hard-earned money on my music. Thanks everybody!”

Despite her legendary career, Dolly has only entered the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart one other time with her collaboration with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, Trio. That project debuted at No. 36 and peaked at No. 6 in 1987.

On the country chart, Dolly has had 42 Top 10 albums, six of which have reached No. 1. She holds the record for the most No. 1 songs for a woman on the Hot Country Songs chart with 25. She is currently headlining her Blue Smoke World Tour.
