Country newcomer Sam Hunt has made history with his debut single, “Leave the Night On.” The  song debuted at No. 36 on the Country Aircheck chart, the highest debut for a new artist. According to Sam, the song is a good representation of his forthcoming debut album.

“‘Leave the Night On’ is a song that sort of represents the album as a whole,” Sam said. “I feel like it captures all of the elements in one song. As far as a song that could represent what the whole album is about, I think that’s just a good choice.”

“Leave the Night On” is now available on iTunes. Sam will spend the summer playing fairs and festivals and will join Little Big Town and Hunter Hayes for select tour dates before hitting the road with Kip Moore this fall.
