Garth Brooks has announced he will kick off his first tour in almost 20 years on Thursday, September 4 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. Keeping true to his word, Brooks has kept ticket prices low for the tour. Tickets for the Chicago show will cost $65.50 (including fees and taxes).
“As an entertainer, you get asked a lot, ‘What are the best cities to play?’” Brooks said. “Without hesitation, I rattle off five or six of the best places to play, and that list always includes Chicago. It is the perfect city to launch the world tour!”
Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. CST. There will be a six ticket limit per purchase. Tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or via Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849.
Brooks also confirmed through an announcement on his official website that fans will soon be able to download his music digitally for the first time. The announcement states “Digital – the new era begins …”
