Garth Brooks has announced the next city on his comeback tour. He will head to the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Friday, September 19. The announcement came less than a week after tickets went on sale for the tour’s first stop at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on September 4. Due to fan demand, Brooks added nine more shows for a total of 10 in the Windy City.
Tickets for the Atlanta show will go on sale at 10AM ET on Friday, Aug. 8 via Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000) or Ticketmaster Express (1-866-448-7849). Tickets will cost $56.94 plus $4.56 tax, a $4.00 facility fee and a $6.00 service charge, totaling $71.50, keeping in line with Brooks’ desire to keep tickets affordable. There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on August 8.
The 10 shows in Chicago serve as the kickoff for Brooks’ comeback tour, which could last as long as three years. Concerts will feature new music from an upcoming album, and wife Trisha Yearwood will appear with him. Brooks is also planning to release his music digitally for the first time.
Additional stops on the tour will be announced individually.
