Taylor Swift is almost as well-known for her acts of kindness as she is for her music. Over the weekend, Swift surprised Jordan Lee Nickerson, a 6-year-old cancer patient, at the Boston Children’s Hospital where he is undergoing treatment, reports People. Nickerson suffers from William Syndrome, underwent open heart surgery when he was 18 months old, and late last month, was diagnosed with leukemia.
Nickerson’s family recorded parts of Swift’s visit with the adorable little boy, who had just met Spider Man the day before. “I know you always sing songs for people,” Nickerson told Swift. “I do,” she confirmed. “I love singing songs for people, but I want to sing a song for you more than all the other people.”
An enthusiastic Nickerson replied “Thank you! Let’s do it!” Swift then performed “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” with some help from Nickerson. She also stuck around for an air hockey match, where she met stiff competition in the 6-year-old. Watch their performance!
