WOWEE! What a great first day for radio adds. The first week, we had 28 stations on board and “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” was the third most added song in the country.

Momma’s so proud.  This week we had 8 more come on board and we couldn’t be more excited, unless of course we won that Kroger shopping spree we’ve been entering for. That would be sweet!

Well, they wouldn’t let Keifer out of the country :) so we’re shooting the video in the good ol’ U.S. of A. next week. We should have it ready to go in a few short weeks for all y’all to see. FYI, as soon as the director says, “That’s a wrap!” we’re going to gorge ourselves on pizza and ice cream. Video diets stink!

We participated in a photo shoot last week for a great cause called sp[OIL]ed. This is a program created by Sammy Kershaw to bring awareness to the Gulf oil disaster. You can check out our photo on the tsquarefans facebook page — www.facebook.com/tsquarefans.

Lastly, we’d like to ask everyone to say a prayer for our friend/Attorney Bob Sullivan, who was diagnosed with leukemia last week. He’s currently being treated and just started chemo. Please keep Bob and his family in your thoughts and throw some positive vibes toward him. He’s a good dude.

Other than having a few days to ourselves last week and just chillin’ by our new kiddie pool, that’s about it for this edition.

Once again, as we’re flying back home, we’d like to thank you for reading and please keep in touch with us @ www.facebook.com/tsquarefans. Until next time….

Last week was awesome! We had our 2nd annual “Josie’s Birthday Bash for a Cure,” a benefit to combat Cystic Fibrosis. With a great lineup of some of Nashville finest singer/songwriters and silent auction items, we were able to beat last year’s donations. We are going to organize more events next year and will have the Bash again as well, so stay tuned.

This coming week is a very exciting one. Our new single comes out on Monday, July 12. ”Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” is a song written by Jim Collins and David Lee Murphy and we are so thankful to get the chance to record it. We hope y’all love it as much as momma does. We also have a feature in the July edition of People magazine, the country edition. Very cool!

On July 24 we will be flying to Puerto Rico to shoot the video for “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not.” This is our first video ever. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be fun :) We can’t wait for y’all to see it. A fella by the name of Wes Edwards is shooting it. Go online and check out his work. It’s fantastic! God sure has blessed us a bunch and we’re so grateful.

As we write this, we are on a plane bound for Kansas City. We have a show tonight for KZSN at Denim and Diamonds in Wichita, KS. Well, the flight attendant is giving us the evil eye, so we better turn this off. Be sure and tune in to “tsquarefans” on Facebook for all the goings-on. Talk to y’all in a few!!!

Well these past two weeks have been CRAZZZZZY!  Starting in California, we did a show for a sold out crowd with Jerrod Niemann, Matt Kennon and Bucky Covington in Fresno for KSKS which was AWESOME!

From there it was a quick flight to Boise where Keifer had another guitar case bite the dust and I had to buy a replacement suitcase because I lost a wheel somewhere between San Jose and Boise.

In Emmitt, ID we played the Cherry Festival and were exposed to amazing new and unbelievably unhealthy fair food (fried Coke, fried cinnamon rolls, ice cream potatoes). Yum. The crowd was amazing and extremely open to new music. We can’t wait to go back.

At this point in the 15 week radio tour, exhaustion has started to set in a bit. From Idaho, it was off to Baltimore, Maryland, where we sang the National Anthem for the Aberdeen Ironbirds opening game at Cal Ripken Stadium. What a beautiful park! This was also a first for us to sing the anthem together. This performance was preceded with some bad news though. Hey, Hey, Hey!
Wow, what a week! Another bunch of firsts for T’Square. We signed autographs for several hours (including in the GAC booth!), meeting a bunch of new people who have either haven’t heard us before or they saw us on online and wanted to come and meet us. The really cool thing is we had a bunch of folks say that they saw cars with “ThompsonSquare.com” shoe polished on their windows and wanted to see who we were. I guess the “Chalk It Up” marketing really works.

We played and hosted a great CMTT benefit for Second Harvest Food Bank this week as well. Every artist there was really great! The highlight of the week came on Saturday with our first ever, official CMA Music Fest performance on the Chevy stage. We had a great crowd, great band and saw some homemade Thompson Square t-shirts. WE LOVE THAT! Country music fans are the best! Here we are on the Chevy stage: Continue Reading

Well, the past few weeks have been crazy. We have spent 24 hours a day every day together for 13 weeks – and for those of you who don’t know, we are married. So…WOW! It’s been 2-3 cities per day, a ton of flying, and many, many rental car miles. We have made many new friends and have learned a lot in the process. Shawna has been on time almost every day, which has been amazing…[I’m so proud of her] and we haven’t killed each other yet. That’s got to be a plus.

We have only broken one string, only 2 guitars have been damaged and we’ve only had 1 fender bender in New York, where Keifer had to chase the guy down because he was driving off.  He’s so crazy. Coming home is the weirdest part. We don’t really know how to act and find ourselves ready to get back on the road. We haven’t seen our dog, Harley, in almost 3 months, but he’s blind and hasn’t seen us in 2 years so I guess we’re even. He’s coming home soon though.

Our first single, “Let’s Fight,” is doing well and we couldn’t be more excited about that. We’ve worked hard and have waited a long time to get here. It’s been awesome so far. We have a great label and tons of support from them, our friends, family and new fans.

This week is gonna be great  It will be our first CMA Music Festival performance. We’re on the Chevy Stage on Saturday, June 12 at 4:15 p.m.

We’ll let you know how our first CMA Fest goes in next week’s blog. Maybe we will see you in the GAC Booth on Sunday, June 13 at Fan Fair Hall! We’ll be there from 2-3 p.m.  Until then, stay SQUARE.
