Rascal Flatts Announces Las Vegas Residency

Rascal Flatts are headed to Las Vegas. Having just wrapped up their Rewind Tour, the trio announced a nine concert residency at the Joint, a 4,000-seat venue inside Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. They’re calling the show the “Rascal Flatts Vegas Riot!”

“We are thrilled to be playing such a storied venue as the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas,” the band’s Jay DeMarcus said. “We’re so excited to do something so different for us. You will experience Rascal Flatts in a way you’ve never seen us before — up close, intimate and personal, and we promise you one thing — it’s going to rock!”

Rascal Flatts Cancels Shows Due to Illness

Rascal Flatts has canceled three more shows due to Gary LeVox’ illness, including shows in Idaho, Washington and British Columbia scheduled for August 7, 8, and 9. The trio previously canceled a show in Oklahoma City last month.

“It is incredibly difficult to make the decision to cancel shows and disappoint our loyal fans who have been so good to us over the years,” Jay DeMarcus said. “The schedule of shows this past weekend, coupled with media days in New York City, have left him without a voice. Summer officially kicks off on Saturday and while the guys of Rascal Flatts will be spending part of it out on the road, headlining their Rewind Tour, they each have favorite summertime activities they are looking forward to.

Gary LeVox will spend his days off this summer preparing for another season. “I’ll be on my farm planting food plots for the upcoming deer season,” he said. “I’ll be out there working the dirt and taking soil samples and getting ready to plant beans and corn and clover.” Continue Reading

Tim McGraw and Gary LeVox on What Their Daughters Have Taught Them

Father’s Day is this Sunday and some of country music’s biggest stars also happen to have a soft spot for the women in their life – namely, their daughters. Tim McGraw has three daughters with wife Faith Hill. In a household full of women, he has learned a thing or two.

“I think that probably the biggest thing that I’m still always working on is having a house full of women is learning patience,” he said. “I’ve never been a very patient person so I think either I’m getting mellower with age or they’re teaching me patience.
