Blake Shelton Gets A Three-Peat on Top 20

Blake Shelton pulled off a three-peat on this week’s Top 20 Country Countdown, making a third week at No. 1 with his new video, “Sangria.” Videos from Little Big Town and Keith Urban with Eric Church rounded out the Top 3 this week, while Rascal Flatts’ latest video, “Riot,” made its countdown debut, coming in at No. 20. Plus, host Nan Kelley paid a special visit to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in Nashville.

Shaky Boots Festival is Coming to Georgia

While it is cold outside, warmer weather is right around the corner and with it comes music festival season. A brand-new event, Shaky Boots Festival, will take place May 16-17 in Kennesaw, Georgia, and feature Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley as headliners.

Additional performers include Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Dwight Yoakam, Sara Evans, Kristian Bush, Joe Nichols, Old Crow Medicine Show, Justin Moore, Eli Young Band, Kip Moore, Jana Kramer, Josh Thompson, Jason Isbell and more than a dozen other acts on three stages throughout the festival. New Year’s Eve With Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry

Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney and his wife, Tiffany, like to ring in a new year with a trip. “For years, Tiffany and I have been able to go on a little vaca’ together and share New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day together somewhere special,” Rooney said, vowing to keep that tradition going “until the kids get quite a bit older and can stay up that late.”

“It’s important, I think, for a couple to find the time to spend together when they can, especially in this crazy business when you travel so much,” he added..

For The Band Perry, even though the family band spends much of the year together, it is still a must that they celebrate New Year’s Eve as a family, as well.

Rascal Flatts Announces Las Vegas Residency

Rascal Flatts are headed to Las Vegas. Having just wrapped up their Rewind Tour, the trio announced a nine concert residency at the Joint, a 4,000-seat venue inside Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. They’re calling the show the “Rascal Flatts Vegas Riot!”

“We are thrilled to be playing such a storied venue as the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas,” the band’s Jay DeMarcus said. “We’re so excited to do something so different for us. You will experience Rascal Flatts in a way you’ve never seen us before — up close, intimate and personal, and we promise you one thing — it’s going to rock!”
