Singer songwriter Miranda Lambert announced today on Good Morning America that her new album, Four The Record, will be released November 1 (11.1.11) on Columbia Nashville. Miranda’s fourth album will be the follow up to her platinum certified, CMA and ACM Album of the Year, Revolution, which yielded the No. 1 singles, “White Liar,” “The House That Built Me,” and “Heart Like Mine,” and the Top 10 “Only Prettier.”
“‘Four The Record’ has so many meanings,” says Miranda. ”I love the play on words and my records always have a little crime in them and this is the fourth record of my career. This album pushes the limits for me in many ways and I collaborate with friends and heroes. It builds on my previous albums with a whole new flair. ‘For The Records’ sake, don’t forget 11/1/11.”
Also this morning on GMA, Pistol Annies, the trio featuring Miranda and singer songwriters Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley performed their song “Hell On Heels” on the show’s Summer Concert Series. “Hell On Heels” is the title track to their 10-song album, which will be released Continue Reading

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert on the cover of Us Weekly. Photo courtesy of Us Weekly.
The new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now, is all about country’s royal wedding. Newlyweds Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton grace the cover – Blake in a handsome coat, tie and jeans and Miranda in her mother Bev’s simple-but-classic ivory wedding dress. (To see the full length of the photo above, click HERE.)
“My parents have been married for 33 years, so this dress is already a good-luck charm,” the bride told the magazine. Under the dress, Miranda fittingly wore a pair of custom-made Casadei cowboy boots. Her bridesmaids wore Old Gringo boots and custom-made gowns by Priscilla of Boston’s Mark Bower.
As the wedding party took their places, Blake sang a song he’d written for the wedding, called “Let’s Grow Old Together.”
Miranda walked down the aisle as bridesmaid Ashley Monroe sang “Makin’ Plans” — a 2009 song Miranda wrote for Blake. As Ashley sang “I know you like the back of my hand, you’ve got a heart of gold and a piece of land” — the bride fought back tears. “I was thinking about not crying, then when I got close, I didn’t think of anyone else,” she tells Us. “It was just me and Blake.”
Even Blake tried not to cry as Miranda’s dad, Rick, gave her away. Continue Reading

In the space of four days, “The Truth” provided some rather incredible symmetry for singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe. On Friday, Ashley was invited to sing the song during Miranda Lambert’s set in Knoxville at Thompson-Boling Arena — the same venue where Ashley once sat in the nosebleed seats to watch Shania Twain. On Monday, she was the belle of the ball at a Music Row party as Jason Aldean and others toasted her for the song’s recent ascent to No. 1.
The truth about “The Truth” is that the road from conception to the top of the charts was a four-year run. Now 23, Ashley co-wrote the song at age 19 with songwriter Brett James. The two set up a creative office on the living-room floor while his wife was in the kitchen and his kids were goofing around under the coffee table.
