Katie Armiger, Corey Smith & More to Perform at Country Music Hall of Fame Fundraiser

Katie Armiger, Brent Cobb, Chris Janson and Corey Smith have been selected to take part in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s emerging artist membership program. The four up and coming artists will take the Ford Theater stage on Tuesday, December 10 for an acoustic guitar pull. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the museum.

The museum selects emerging artists throughout the year to present honorary Friends and Family memberships. Since 2011, dozens of artists have become part of the museum family through this program.  “Whenever I visit the Country Music Hall of Fame I leave there feeling really inspired,” said Corey Smith.

Tickets to the show are on sale now at www.countrymusichalloffame.org and include three levels of admission, ranging from general admission to a VIP package which includes admission to the concert, a limited-edition Hatch Show Print and a meet-and-greet with the artists.

Joe Diffie to Headline 16th Annual Buds-n-Suds Music FestivalJoe Diffie will headline the 16th Annual Buds-n-Suds Music Festival on Thursday, October 17 at Loser’s Most Wanted Bar in Nashville. Presented by Losers and The Big 98 WSIX, the music festival will benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s Tennessee Chapter. Chris Janson, Jonathan Singleton, American Young, DJ Du, Downday and the Mann Sisters will also perform.

In addition to the concert, concertgoers will be able to participate in a silent auction throughout the evening. Chris Janson Releases Self-Titled Debut EP

Chris Janson released his self-titled EP to all digital retailers on September 3. Produced by Keith Stegall, the EP includes five songs written or co-written by Chris, including his new single “Cut Me Some Slack” and the Top 40 hit “Better I Don’t.”

Country Weekly Kick Off Party benefiting Musicians On Call.

The annual Country Weekly CMA Music Fest “Kick Off Party” hosted by GAC’s Suzanne Alexander and raised $13,361 for Musicians On Call Nashville. Held at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville, the party featured performances from Easton Corbin, Dustin Lynch, Greg Bates and Chris Janson. All proceeds go to MOC Nashville’s efforts to bring the healing power of music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities in Middle Tennessee.

Country Weekly Kick Off Party benefiting Musicians On Call.

Easton Corbin, Dustin Lynch, Greg Bates and Chris Janson will perform during Country Weekly magazine’s annual CMA Music Festival kick off celebration on Tuesday, June 4. The event takes place at the Hard Rock Café in downtown Nashville with all proceeds benefiting Musicians On Call Nashville, a non-profit organization that brings live and recorded music to patients in healthcare facilities.

Tickets are available now and range from $30 for general admission up to $500 for a VIP table that includes meet-and-greet opportunities with all four artists. All attendees will have the opportunities to walk a red carpet, complete with bright lights and a backdrop for photos.   Continue Reading

The Tug McGraw Foundation will hold its 2nd Annual Celebrity Sporting Clay Pro-Am on Tuesday, June 4 at the Nashville Gun Club in Nashville. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation and its efforts to improve the lives of military members affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Jake Owen & Gary Allan To Headline ACM Weekend at Fremont Street Experience

The Academy of Country Music and Las Vegas have announced ACM Weekend at Fremont Street Experience will take place April 5-6 with all-star concerts headlined by Gary Allan and Jake Owen. Following the previously announced ACM Party for a Cause Festival, this ultimate after party in downtown Las Vegas will also include performances by Randy Houser, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Kip Moore, Joe Nichols and Sunny Sweeney.

Hosted by Blair Garner, ACM Weekend at Fremont Street Experience is free and open to the public. Concerts begin at 9:00pm both nights with performances on two stages. ACM Weekend at Fremont Street Experience, ACM Party for a Cause and more will take place in conjunction with The Week Vegas Goes Country leading up to the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Chris Janson will make his Grand Ole Opry debut this Friday, February 15. He’ll perform his new single, “Better I Don’t,” which was the second most added song to country radio playlists the week it was released.

Tracy Lawrence is set to open the ACM Concert Stage at Cowboy Fanfest during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas December 6-December 15. Tracy joins previously announced performers Chris Young, David Nail, Bucky Covington, Sarah Darling, Brett Eldredge, Jack Ingram, Ryan Beaver, Chris Janson and Aaron Watson.
