Katie Armigeris serving up a treat for her fans on Halloween. She will release her new single, “Scream,” to radio on October 31. Katie co-wrote the song with Sarag Buxton and Blair Daly. The track can be found on Katie’s third studio album, Confessions of a Nice Girl, as well as the deluxe album, Confessions of a Nice Girl (The True Confessional).
“Everyone has had a relationship where nothing seems to go right and it seems like the only way to feel better or get some kind of release is to scream,” Katie said. “That’s what this song stemmed from so lots of people can relate. I am really excited to have it out there as a single.” Continue Reading

Whoever said, “Nice girls finish last” never met Katie Armiger…and this nice girl is just getting started.
Katie’s third record, Confessions of a Nice Girl, will be available in stores and online Tuesday, October 5 – but she celebrated a little early, on September 29 at the SESAC building in Nashville. Located in the heart of Music Row, having this special event at SESAC was not out of convenience. Katie announced that she is now a member.
“I just want you to know that you always have a home here,” said Tim Fink, SESAC Vice President, Writer/Publisher Relations. Continue Reading

GAC is once again teaming up with Katie Armiger to help celebrate the release of her new album Confessions of a Nice Girl, in stores on October 5th. Katie is throwing an album release party in Nashville tonight, Wednesday, September 29th where she will perform songs from the new album. Katie’s set list will include the heart wrenching Charlie Sexton produced “I Will Be,” the rockin’ Rachel Proctor-Bruce Wallace collaboration “Ain’t Gonna Happen,” the guitar-driven down-and-dirty “Ain’t So Sweet,” and of course her recent infectious singles “Kiss Me Now” and “Leaving Home” among others.
Her performance will be streamed live right here on this page at GACTV.com starting at 7/6c.
Katie’s prepping the Oct 5 release of her third album, Confessions Of A Nice Girl, and she enlisted GACTV.com for a sweepstakes that brings one winner to Nashville for the album release party Sept. 29. The album includes Katie’s song “Leaving Home,” which is currently at No. 12 on the countdown. And the winner has been picked: 29-year-old Kelly Johnson from Columbus, Ohio.
In the meantime, Steel Magnolia still has plenty of reason to be in celebration mode. The act is nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year in the 44th annual Country Music Association Awards, pitted against Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland and Joey + Rory. It’s particularly amazing when you realize that Steel Magnolia won’t even have its debut album in release until January — two months after the CMA ceremony.
